I worked for a whole day to get those little flower petals
just right...sometimes it isn't easy being anal...
but I love how it turned out...I did another one called 'Reach'...

Another rainy day here in the NW...

A very dear friend has her grandmother, aunts, uncles and
cousins, all from Sendai, and hasn't heard a thing from them
since the quake...so prayer are great appreciated.

Snow Day!

This is the extent of the snow we got last week,
when the weatherman said we would have
maybe a foot of the white stuff
and have a heck of a morning commute.
Fortunate for me, my commute is about 20 steps
from my front door to my studio...but I stayed in my
jammies all day,
just in case the snow really did show up.

Even snow and 18 degree weather
could not stop this wonderful Daphne bush...
what a wonderful aroma we will have in a week or two.

still rough, but that's the learning curve...

A Wee Bit O' Green

How the heck did I wake up to March 2011 already??
The last major thing I remember worrying about was what Y2K
was gonna do to our computers.
Wow, I really can't believe we are already 10+ years into the 21st century. Remember when...the days went by so slowly and it was like forever...
for it to get to Christmas, your birthday, vacation????
Those were the good old days...or were they? I don't think I would go back.
I like being able to do what I want, when I want.
