Tax Prep Day---UGH!

I know I've put it off long enough...
so today was dedicated to getting our tax stuff together...
There must be a simpler was to live...

I'm opting for an island...

but I hope it has internet access...
and maybe a movie theater...
and UPS...ice cream would be nice...

OK...I'm staying here...but this year,
I'm going to do it...
SIMPLY!!!

Pink Saturday & Women Who Do It All!

PINK SATURDAY

We can do it all and can do it...backwards and in heels!

Well, no heels here, just me and my Precious Metal Clay!

Every day is a new challenge to see what I can
come up with...to push myself and the clay...

Nesting

I'm really proud of this piece...
my first cut and paste, so to speak,
using Precious Metal clay...
fun to use texture...
I'm going to do it again,
but use wire for the nest...what do you think???

Today I'm working on polymer clay models...
so I can work out the bugs...before I
commit them to silver...
not only does the clay stink when it cooks,
but it doesn't seem to want to harden...
in for the second time...we'll see...
it's always somethin'!!

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY TO YOU ALL...

Yesterday, I thought I was so clever
to get my pink post ready early...
I worked hard at putting together a pink page
and set it up
to insert just after midnight,
but somehow...the computer nymph ate it...
SO....I'm gonna put two up...
I love the Breast Cancer Awareness Earrings...

and this is our wonderful daphne bush,
that battled high winds,
monsoon rains, and freezing temps
to bloom & bloom & bloom...
I wish I could share the smell as well as the pink...
it 'stinks' so pretty...
and it's right by the front door.

Last weekend, I went to
cindy lew's blog (go check her out)
because I feel in love with
her pink VW and house...and what do you know...
we are sisters from different mothers...
we both love kitties and sunflowers...
small world...huh???

YELLOW!!!

I had to share this wonderful color...

it seems like this forsythia bush always blooms
when it's raining
and that we don't get to really enjoy all it's springy burst of color...
so I stood in the rain and made sure I took
full advantage of it's magnificent yellow this year!

It really is, almost Spring...where does the time go???
